A subsidiary of SOTRALENTZ Metal Industries since 2011, SFAR specialises in precision machining and manufacturing of large mechanical components, either as one-off items or in short production runs.
In its production workshops in Montchanin (71), SFAR manufactures parts for the:
-Nuclear industry: Machining of steam generators (SG) shells, elliptical and channel heads for SG, primary pump casings, primary coolant circuit pipes.
-Power industry: Parts for gas turbine, water turbines, alternator and motor shafts.
-Steel industry: Continuous caster segments, rolling mandrels, spare parts, etc.
-Cement industry: Kiln support rollers, grinding rollers, shells, kiln tyres, pressure levers, fan shafts, roller press rolls, etc
